Overview

Description

Thanks to this resource you will be able to place widgets at the bottom of your forums' indexes, normally not available on forumotion

Demonstration

Technical limitations

› This tutorial is dedicated to the forums powered by Forumotion free forum service
› Requires to be the Founder of the #Forumotion Forum
› It works with all Forumotion forums' versions
› It only works with PhpBB3/PhpBB2/PunBB/Invision/AwesomeBB/ModernBB Forumotion forums' versions

Installation

CSS

In order to design the style of the resource, you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP)  Display  CSS & Colors  CSS Style Sheet and add append the following code:

You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources

Define widgets

Create a new portal going to Administration control panel (ACP) ► Modules ► Portal & Widgets ► Portals and include the widgets you prefer. The suggested number is 3.

Remember the ID of the portal, for example for the portal

Code:: https://www.fmcodes.net/portal?pid=2

the id is

Code:: 2

Javascript & jQuery

For the next step you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP)  Modules  HTML & Javascript  Javascript codes management and create a new code - upon verifying that Javascript codes management is enabled.

Title: free choice - does not influence the code effect
Where: (mod:state the options)

You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources

PhpBB3
You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources

PunBB
You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources

Invision
You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources

Javascript Customization

Now, edit

Code:: pid=ID

in the javascript code with the id of your portal you fetched before.

Then, edit

Code:: NUM

with the number of widgets you added (suggestion: from 1 to 3)
